American women are suppressed, unrightfully taken advantage of, and discriminated against on many levels; or at least that is what they say. Looking at the big picture, our society has become more androgynous and homogenized. Guys dress like girls, embracing the feminine appearance, wearing eye-liner and girl jeans, investing serious amounts of time in their appearance, mainly in doing their hair. This social deterioration, or movement defined as metrosexual, has flooded the US encountering very little resistance. Basically, guys are trying to become girls and women want the rights of men.

Limited to our society, basic concepts that define men are no longer applicable because a guy whose weight does not exceed 110lbs is not likely to be able to offer too much protection; well I guess women have the right to protect themselves and through the extinction of the meaning of man, maybe the suppression will cease. Yes this is an exaggerated instance, but it in not impossible to reach, maybe not in the near future but somewhere down the line, we will look back and wonder what separated ball from the penis. Excessive exhibition of masculinity is not good, but the absolute elimination of masculinity from males is not a very wise path either.

For various reasons, many women feel completely suppressed, stating that sexism is institutionalized, uniting every woman in the room under one very emotional seal, looking at every male around them with resentment as if their right to vote has been stripped away from them. Other women complain that men get more opportunities than women, like when men go to a job interview wearing a mini-skirt and exposing their breasts, well that does not apply to most men, yet it applies to most women who have the physical features to carry themselves in such a manner. Ironically, men are blamed for hiring sleazy looking women and accused for looking at women as pieces of meat, sparking a whole revolutionary motion against all men for using women as objects. Looking at this issue from a logical point of view, shouldn’t the militant and unfortunately disfavored women, look at the root of the problem, which I believe is caused by the women who choose to dress in a provocative manner, because I am pretty sure a man would not necessarily be looking at a woman’s breasts if he couldn’t see them. I suppose wearing fewer clothes and dressing provocatively is a way to express one’s freedom, freedom from self respect and moral rule.
