Looking at the upcoming presidential election, much of the focus has been directed toward Rudy Giuliani and his stand on abortion. Unfortunately for Giuliani, his stand on this issue has not been exactly consistent. The problem comes from his statements which are pro-life, which conflict with his donations to Planned Parenthood, pointing to the pro-choice direction.
It is hard to understand why every republican candidate has to meet the mandatory requirements of prolife and pro-creationist views. The result is just having people state some opinion that does not reflect their true beliefs in hope to rake in votes. Looking at the current situation it is not the controversy between pro-life and pro-choice, or between creationism and Darwinism that our focus should be on, but on the fact that we are at war and neither of the four stated above will fix the situation we created.
