Even though the shooter acquired his weapons legally, there was always the possibility of getting them from an illegal arms dealer. Many anti-gun control advocates argue that students should be allowed to carry a concealed arm for their protection, but if that would be legal, wouldn't it make it easier for people who intend to perform such actions, regardless of where they are and who they are targeting? The fact that guns can be acquired with such ease will do nothing but lead to this society's regress into something similar to the Old West, I guess allowing the true American Dream to come true, making it possible for anyone to become a cowboy; then what would be the point of law enforcement anyway.
