At this time the polls are saying that 49% will vote for a Democrat and 33% for a Republican, the rest who cares. In the last six months even though the shift was not significant, the Democrats lost 1% to the Republicans.
The polls currently read the following.
- If Giuliani and Clinton face off, then we'll have a republican president with 48%
- If Giuliani and Obama face off, then we'll have a democrat with 48%
- Giuliani and Edwards then Giuliani with 47%
- McCain and Clinton, then McCain with 47%
- McCain and Obama, then Obama with 46%
- Romney and Clinton, then Clinton with 48%
- Romney and Obama, then Obama with 52%
- Romney and Edwards, then Edwards with 50%
