General Mixon said that there is a need for more troops in order to secure the Diyala borders in Iraq. There has been a noticed increase in the numbers of dead men and women on the streets of Iraq, which calls for a higher number of troops to be sent there. In this case the General’s statement, uninhibited and very blunt shows a change in deliverance since Donald Rumsfeld stepped down.
Where or not the government should send or pull out troops, it seems to have lost its point, the situation has revealed itself as very complicated and I suppose it is our responsibility to fix the broken things or at least duct tape them.
